- Q. How are travel arrangements made?
A. You can use your own travel agency to obtain the best international
airfare rates and routes. Should you need to arrange an additional side
trip, we may also help arrange it for you if needed.
- Q. Do I need an invitation letter from ASAP to get a Visa into a foreign
country?
A. No, no invitation letter is required if you apply for your visa through
ASAP. Please be aware that Bangladesh, China and Pakistan require visas.
- Q. Is business class airfare offered for international travel?
A.Our participation fee does not include airfare. Should you request business
class, the best way is to purchase your own ticket, and we will charge
you the participation fee without airfare.
- Q. I may be in Asia during that time, what kind of arrangement can you
make for me?
A. We suggest you purchase your own ticketand we will charge you the participation
fee without airfare.
- Q. Can I get an open-ended return ticket?
A. Yes. Please ask your travel agent about open-ended tickets.
- Q. Once in foreign country, how do I get in touch with ASAP?
A. There will be an ASAP representative to welcome you at the Airport.
If you are not travelling with our group, please inform us of your arrival
details (airline, flight number, time and date, etc) so we know when to
expect you.
- Q. Can I bring my spouse on this trip?
A. This trip is strictly for business purposes; however, if your spouse
needs to travel with you, she/he has to add $1,000 to the buyer participation
fee.
- Q. Are there sight-seeing tours arranged?
A. No. This is a strictly trade mission, with limited free time.
- Q. Can I communicate with the manufacturers before the trip?
A. Yes. We recommend buyers and manufacturers to communicate before the
trip. Please let us know what you are looking for, and we will refer you
to the appropriate manufacturers in each city.
- Q. What kind of samples or documents should I bring with me to make
the trip more productive?
A. We strongly encourage each buyer to bring his/her samples, tech pack
to show the manufacturers. Better yet, if you can provide us your tech
pack with sample pictures, so we can circulate this information to all
the manufacturers so they can prepare counter samples ahead of time.
